Doug Knox

Doug is co-owner of FNBC Jacksonville where he and his family have been residents for over 15 years. Graduate of the University of Denver with a BSBA degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. He has been an owner/operator of small businesses, as well as holding various management positions with two National restaurant chains. With over 30 years experience in business, Doug has been involved in strategic business planning, SBA financing, lease negotiations, and business turnarounds. He is licensed with the Florida Real Estate Commission as a broker and also a member of the Florida Restaurant Association and International Business Brokers Association. Doug is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).

Carl Hunter

Carl is co-owner of FNBC Jacksonville, Florida. Originally from Pennsylvania, he and his family have resided in Jacksonville for 25 years. Carl’s background is in “Big 5” and independent management consulting. He has owned several small businesses, including a consulting business and a light manufacturing company serving homebuilders in the Jacksonville area. His 30 years’ business experience spans the banking, healthcare, manufacturing and CPG distribution industries. Carl holds an MBA from the University of Georgia, and an undergraduate business degree in Marketing. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker with the Florida Real Estate Commission, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He also holds a Strategic Planning certification from the Planagement Institute.

Byron McCutchen

Byron was educated as a Chemical Engineer at Virginia Tech, and entered industry with DuPont at a large industrial site. He gained experience in virtually all disciplines including technical, manufacturing, finance, marketing and sales, culminating in business leadership as Global Director for a $1.2 billion fibers operation. Byron also lived and managed in Asia for three years.

Byron left DuPont to join Guilford Mills as Sr. Vice President and board member. There he participated in the turnaround of several businesses before leaving to open a new territory for a mid-market business brokerage firm in Atlanta. He was then recruited for the turnaround of an Industrial Textile operation in Alabama.

Currently Byron applies his many years of business experience helping small to mid-size companies dramatically improve financial results, create growth, develop management and team skills and achieve their vision, up to and including their business exit strategy.
