Dennis Rabon

After graduating with a BS in Management and an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management, Dennis began his career in commercial durable goods distribution with Michelin North America, developing the dealer network and growing national fleet sales.  Continuing in the commercial trucking industry, Dennis took positions of increasing responsibility in dealer development, market management, channel management, and manufacturing plant management. 

 

In 1999, Dennis joined Airgate PCS as Market Manager with responsibility for launching the Sprint PCS Market in Columbia, SC.  Shortly thereafter, Dennis was promoted to Regional Vice President, responsible for sales, marketing, and profit and loss for the NC, SC, and GA region.  Dennis was promoted to Executive Vice President, with sole responsibility for IPCS, a wholly owned subsidiary with marketing, sales, distribution, and engineering responsibility for the Midwest United States.

 

The entrepreneurial bug bit hard in 2002, and Dennis started VisionWireless, which quickly became the largest Sprint PCS business partner in the US, generating over $4.6 million in new annual recurring revenue in its’ first year of business.  In 2005, the bug bit once again, and Dennis opened the first of what would become five franchised fitness centers.

 

In August of 2007, Dennis sold one of his fitness centers after listing with First National Business Company (SC).  The experience was “...so professional, so simple, and so perfectly organized, I wanted to own the business”.  In November, 2007, Dennis Rabon bought FNBC-SC, and has since more than doubled the number of brokers to serve business owners and buyers in South Carolina.

Chuck Tebrich

Chuck has worked for over 30 years in the private business sector in a variety of capacities. He has extensive experience in information technology, with primary focus in providing support services to businesses implementing software systems. His clients include companies in insurance, banking, utilities and manufacturing. In addition, Chuck has sales experience with the National Association of the Self-Employed and Life, Health, Property and Casualty Insurance. Chuck entered private business after graduating from the United States Naval Academy and proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Jack Whitley

Jack Whitley is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a B.S. in education: he then pursued graduate studies at Emory University. As the owner of his own business, Jack was responsible for management, marketing, sales, operations, and administration. Jack is a licensed realtor, and because of his experience in business, he is well qualified not only to assist those persons selling their business buy also to provide expert assistance to those persons purchasing a business for the first time. He is committed to making the purchase or sale of a business an easy and rewarding experience.

Phil Shelato

Phil graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration on Real Estate.  He is also a licensed real estate salesman. A native of central
Illinois, he came to FNBC Columbia on the advice of Steve Park from the Springfield, Illinois office. Phil has gained valuable experience learning the “ins” and “outs” of business brokerage while working in the FNBC Columbia office.  He really enjoys working with business buyers and sellers and looks forward to finding their “ideal deal.”

 

Bob Wedemeyer

Bob has more than 25 years business experience in the private sector, most with large publicly traded companies. Most recently, Bob spent over 15 years with Becton Dickinson, one of the largest medical products companies in the world. There, he held various manufacturing management and operations positions. Prior to that, he held manufacturing management positions with the Standard Products Company and Sales Management positions with Goodyear Rubber and Tire Company. Bob is a graduate of Lander University.

Frank Carter

Frank learned early how business owners think as his family owned and operated their own business for over 40 years.
 
Following college graduation, Frank began his career as a credit manager for a heavy equipment distributor and then spent the next 31 years in commercial finance with several Fortune 500 companies
 
Frank especially enjoys working with business owners and he is committed to make the transition for both (seller and buyer) an event that is remembered as a success!

Nancy Hanna

Nancy Hanna has held various administrative positions supporting sales associates and other professionals. Nancy has 25+ years experience including customer service, sales and marketing support, as well as general administrative activities. She is very excited to join the FNBC, South Carolina-Columbia team.
