Bud Leffel spent 35 plus years in the Insurance Business. He pioneered a unique marketing program through life insurance sales with sponsored financial institutions throughout the Midwest. As President of his marketing company, American Bankers Insurance Services, Inc., they developed the program, recruited salespeople, trained them and was the leading organization each year for all the companies they represented. He led the nation as “New Agent of the Year” his first year in the business with a Nationally known Insurance Company at 21 years of age. He has been honored by Insurance Salesmen Magazine, The National Association of Life Insurance Companies, and a special all-time achievement award for 18 years of consistently leading the nation in overall production for their major Insurance Carrier. Bud now brings all of that experience to the world of Business Buying and Selling. Bill Bishop

Bill spent several years in Poland as the COO of a 6 ½ Billion Dollar food wholesaling company.   He was former President & Division Manger of Scotlad Foods, Merchandising Manager for Super Foods, Co., and Senior Vice President for a National Food Distributor.  Bill has been a guest lecturer on Organizational Communications at the University of Oklahoma, School of Communications. Bill brings many years of administrative and expert communications to the art of business brokerage.  Bill is very detail oriented and will do an excellent job in listing and in selling businesses.

David Anderson

David Anderson has broad experience in Sales, Commercial Credit and Customer Relations in the Steel Industry and Financial Services.  He has worked for large corporations, represented the National Federation of Independent Businesses as well has being self employed.  In his perspective, a “Good Deal” must be good for ALL involved, and he wants to improve the financial future for as many business people as possible.  David believes that just listing a business is not the same as selling it. Veronica brings over twenty years experience as a business owner to FNBC.  She offers her exuberance and energy to help you achieve your own American Dream.

Her background includes ownership of an oilfield service company where she and her partner developed a patented water recycling device.  Veronica and her husband own a reputable swimming pool construction and restoration company they established in 1995.  As a business owner, Veronica has the knowledge and enthusiasm to ensure an easy and enjoyable business buying and selling experience.

Her business affiliations include the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce; the National and the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Associations.

Paul Farrell

Paul has been a successful entrepreneur for 25 years. Immediately after high school he displayed a spirit of service and the growing ability to create successful business models.  He developed a commercial window cleaning  business that transformed itself into a landscape maintenance company to satisfy his customer’s ever increasing requests for more services.  Early on he understood the importance of meeting the customer’s needs on a timely basis. His company motto “Promise Less, Deliver More” was ingrained throughout the staff.  Paul personifies the statement “Well Done is Better than Well Said.”  Looking to expand a landscaping specialty, he pioneered the landscape curbing industry in Oklahoma City and spent the next four years as an investor.  Paul now brings those many years of successful business experience to FNBC and excels in helping others find their piece of the American Dream

Rodney has vast experience as a residential and commercial real estate holder and investor, managing several properties.  He still enjoys mentoring and helping others get started in the real estate business. 

 
Rodney brings more than a decade of mortgage and lending experience to the business.  From operating Family Mortgage, his own private company, to managing Global West Funding and later Amstar Mortgage Corporation, Whether it’s managing, marketing, or underwriting, he has experience in every angle of the lending business.

Damon enjoys working through and overcoming all the many details involved in business acquisitions.
 
He developed and sold his own “Business Services” business.  He then spent eight years as Sales Manager & Marketing consultant in the manufacturing industry.  He also spent five years in International Real Estate, new construction, project development and financing.
 
In his spare time, Damon likes to travel, scuba dive, surf and just be outdoors.

Jerry Evans

Jerry has a background in accounting, business management, has his Real Estate “Brokers License” and has attended Commercial Lending School.  He has spent thirty two years in banking-finance and mortgage lending, built and managed a mortgage loan company, hired, trained and managed over thirty employees.  Upon selling the mortgage business, he began a residential construction business, building fifty three homes in a four year period.
 
Jerry has written and published a book “Flat Money” describing the private organizations controlling world economics through the creation and manipulation of money.  He is married to Michele, and loves golf and building furniture. 

Katrina Raether

Katrina attended Oklahoma City University and the HUD Housing/Grant Certification Program. She is a single mom with a daughter, Kaylee, 15.
 
She has been a licensed Mortgage Originator Title Abstract Underwriter.  She has strong leadership skills in sales and marketing.  She has worked with Community Action Neighborhood Housing for first time homebuyers.
 
She enjoys boating, camping, reading, dance and coaching.  Katrina believes FNBC provides the perfect model for bringing buyers and sellers together . . .providing effective customer service from start to finish.

Mary Davis

Mary  received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Central Oklahoma with an emphasis on Public Relations.  She has been a Residential/Commercial Realtor for the past eight years.  She began her own business in December 2008 as a Real Estate Broker.  In 2002 she was “Rookie of the Year”  Multi Million Dollar Producer.  She is a former member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard.
 
Mary is married to Shelby.  She enjoys sailing, surfing the internet and reading.  She has a duck named “Aflac” and a rabbit named “Harvey.”  She has a penchant for taking care of animals, family and friends.

William T. (Tom) Buckley, Jr.

Tom is the owner and CEO of First National Business Corporation and its affiliated companies based in Springfield, MO.

Tom is also the owner of FNBC Oklahoma City, a full service business brokerage agency.

Tom has a varied background, rich in both franchised and independent business ownership. 

 

From 1975 to 1985 he owned and operated a chain of dry cleaning plants in the greater Kansas City area.  In addition he owned the Coit Drapery and Carpet Cleaning franchise and the Home Rug Cleaning Co. from 1983-1988.  He successfully sold these businesses during the 1980s and is proud to report that the buyers were also successful in the businesses.  Good sales make everyone happy.

 

Tom purchased and operated as a franchisor the Dr. Vinyl and Associates, Ltd. franchise company from 1986 to 2001, growing the system from 60 domestic units to over 200 units in 40 plus states and 10 master licenses in additional countries.  A Dr. Vinyl franchise owner offers a wide range of appearance repair and reconditioning services to auto dealers, for boats, medical applications and much more.

 

He sold a Master License for four countries in Europe in 1999 and subsequently sold the entire company to that Master Licensee in 2001, staying on with the company in administration and sales and to insure a smooth transition for several years thereafter.

 

Tom has continued to offer franchise consulting services and operated other businesses as well, such as an auto dealership, business to business direct marketing, and much more.

 

He is a firm believer in owning your own business; it is the surest path to wealth and more importantly, the satisfaction of being somebody who is making a difference.

 

Tom believes that FNBC has all the systems and personnel in place to continue its impressive growth, offering proven methods to help its licensed offices prosper and to satisfy the expectations of business buyers and sellers alike.

Dian Buckley

Dian received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia.  It was there she met Tom and they married in 1971.  She received a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.  Dian taught from 1971 until 1977 when their first child was born.  By 1984 there were four children keeping Dian busy at home, Ragan now 30 (Atlanta), Natalie 28 (New York) with new husband Jason, William III “Tommy” 26 (Excelsior Springs), and Madison Edward 24 (Independence).

 

Dian served in many positions in the PTA becoming President of her children’s school PTA from 1990-1992. During this time she traveled around the state of Missouri presenting parenting workshops for other PTA’s.  She became President of the Independence Council of PTA’s in 1994 and served in that position for two years.

 

Dian returned to teaching when Ragan decided she wanted to attend college at an Ivy League School.  In 1999 Dian left teaching and went to work at Dr. Vinyl with Tom.

 

Always involved in the community, Dian served as President of Independence Young Matrons, organized in 1940 for charitable and educational purposes and for community service, from 2004-2006.

 

After selling Dr. Vinyl both Tom and Dian took some time off to travel.  In 2005 they formed Buckley Business Services dba Street Dreams Auto Sales with their two sons.  Dian currently keeps the books for that company as well as WTB Rentals, LLC, LMBM Properties, LLC and Buckley Commercial Properties

Larry Williams

Larry Williams is Vice-President and General Manger of First National Business Corporation and Vice-President of Telespond USA. He previously served as Affiliated Offices Marketing Coordinator for FNBC, including providing training and marketing assistance to agency owners, sales managers, and agents.

Larry is also Regional Manager of FNBC, including acting as support adviser to FNBC Oklahoma City, OK. 

Larry also is a successful business broker with First National Business Corporation in Springfield, Missouri. He has listed businesses and brokered deals as small as $25,000.00 and as large as multi million dollar transactions. Larry previously served as General Manager of First National Business Company of Columbia, South Carolina, a full service business brokerage affiliate of FNBC.

 

Working with people and finding ways to make a positive difference and be supportive is a consistent theme of Larry’s career. His work experience includes military service, teaching, church work, sales, executive management, and business ownership.

 

After three years in the US Army, including a tour of duty in the First Infantry Division in Viet Nam, he returned to academic studies. Following his undergraduate degree, he took advantage of an academic scholarship offer and earned a Master of Arts Degree from Wheaton Graduate School and was given the Merrill C. Tenney Award as the outstanding student for the year. More graduate studies and ten years as a tenured professor at a university was followed by years of service in local churches.

 

Many productive years were spent in sales and sales management, as National Director of Church Resource Specialists with a church directory company. In this position Larry had twelve regional managers as direct reports ( each regional manager had responsibility for ten to twenty five sales representatives ) as well as a telemarketing department. He also was National Sales Manager with an educational book and media distribution company. Along the way he has owned and operated businesses, including a vending company, a deli franchise, investment properties, a specialty printing business, and other franchised restaurants.

 

An uncle who was a professional musician bought him a guitar before Larry was born. Music has been an on and off again love affair through out his life. There were several years where snow skiing was more than a passion. Reading, learning, watching and playing sports, traveling ( around this great country and many other countries ), motorcycling, and making new friends have been enjoyable and rewarding hobbies.

Kathy is our receptionist and “lead assistant.” Prior to coming to FNBC, Kathy worked the past 12 years in the medical field, and before that she was co-owner of a large real estate company here in Oklahoma City. Her real estate and sales background are very advantageous to her current position here at FNBC. She has a great love and compassion for people and says her job her at FNBC enables her to interact daily with people from all walks of life.

Kayla Dale

Kayla is the newest and youngest addition to our Oklahoma City family at FNBC as our Sales  Administrator.  She truly compliments our office with her youth, enthusiasm, glowing personality and her eagerness to please not only her co-workers but our customers as well.

 

Kayla has worked in the “customer service” field since graduation from school in Edmond, Oklahoma.  She quickly advanced to management positions where she remained until coming to work for FNBC.  Kayla’s compassion for helping and her constant smile makes her a true asset to our Oklahoma City office.
